Since the sensor remembers its
calibration data even after being removed from the TROLL 9000, you can
calibrate them on a separate unit (in the office for example) and plug them
into completely different unit (perhaps one that is in the field) without any
need for recalibration. You may have several sensors that can simply be rotated
among multiple units. Think of it--no need to calibrate in the field. Just plug
them into one of the optional ports and they are ready to go!
