Soil Vapor Extraction Overview

The two most commonly used blowers for soil vapor extraction systems are regenerative and positive displacement. Regenerative blowers are typically chosen for low to moderate air flow rates and low to moderate vacuum requirements (0-5" Hg). Positive displacement blowers are more commonly used for higher flow and vacuum applications (0-15" Hg). Each system is skid mounted, pre-tested and pre-assembled and includes the same basic typical components, with numerous options available.

Mid-Atlantic Environmental Equipment, Inc offers Dual Phase Extraction Systems in two different configurations. Each Dual Phase Extraction System is manufactured to meet your specific requirements. The determining factor behind the selection is the expected operating vacuum level. Liquid ring pumps (oil sealed design) are most suitable for vacuum levels in excess of 15 inches mercury (Hg).  While Rotary Claw blowers provide a range of vaccum from 2-27" Hg.  Rotary Claw blowers are also very energy efficient providing a cost savings over liquid ring pump operations.  

Mid-Atlantic Environmental Equipment, Inc offers Air Sparging Systems manufactured to meet your specific requirements. There are a number of different system types that can be used. The choice ultimately depends on air flow rate, pressure and other site specific considerations. The most commonly used system types for Air Sparging are positive displacement blowers, rotary claw blowers and air compressors. There are two different types of air compressors that can be used, rotary vane or rotary screw

We will package any one or more of our remediation components and provide you with a complete, fully assembled and tested remediation system either skid-mounted or in an enclosed trailer, steel cargo container, or wooden or steel shed. We will also package any number of treatment technologies to your custom specification.

Aerobic bioremediation (oxidative bioremediation) is more than just simply adding oxygen or a certain species of bacteria. Successful bioremediation efforts must incorporate all of the necessary components: an abundant supply of electron acceptors, nutrients for building cell mass, active cultures to spur on microbial growth, and enzyme enhancements to increase bioavailabilty. Bioremediation products must also be easy to apply, which is why our products are designed to be 100% soluble. Use our aerobic bioremediation products in conjunction with:
